What Psalms 7:17 means to me

Psalms 7:17 reads “I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most High.”

To me this means that i will thank god because of how awesome he is. he does so much for us that we take it for granted, but when you step back and look at all the miracles ( so to speak ) that have happened in your life you have to know that it was done by God. It then tells us to sing because of this righteousness. God is just so amazing, and if you really reflect on your life you will see how he has blessed you.

What Psalms 5:11 means to me

Psalms 5:11 reads “But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.”

To me this means that all of the people who just absolutely love God, be happy that he loves us so much that he takes care of our every need, and to express how we love him we sing praise. Then in the next sentence i think that it is telling god to protect us from the people who persecute us so that we may freely worship him, and obviously since he has gifted us with this great nation that allows us to freely worship him, that he has fufilled his side of the bargain, and now we just have to fufill ours

What Psalms 9:4 means to me

Psalm’s 9:4 reads”Praising god because he is a righteous judge”

I think it means that you should respect god because he is our creator and does what he does because he has our best interest at heart and sometimes we degrade his decisions but we really should thank him because he is only doing it for the better . we praise him because we love and adore him, nuff said

What Psalms 9:2 means to me

Psalms 9:2 reads “i will be glad and rejoice in you; i will sing praise to your name, O most high.”

To me this means that we should be so happy about what god has done for us that we would just bow down to praise his name. it means that we will honor god with one of the only ways we know and that is to sing his name.
